The Main and Add-on Shelves

The shelf is a relatively common equipment in the warehousing industry. It is very convenient to use, so it is widely used in various fields and has a very broad development prospect. The shelf is a whole composed of the main and add-on shelves. When in use, we must use the main andadd-on shelves together, which can improve the efficiency of the shelf.

The main shelf of the rack refers to a group of racks that are assembled by two columns and beams (layer boards), which can be completely independent. The sub-rack refers to a shelf attached to a set of adjacent shelves and connected, and cannot be independent shelves. For example, if three shelves are assembled into a group, then it can be designed as one main shelf and two sub-frames. Except for the first shelf which requires two columns, the other two shelves can share one column with the previous one. The latter two are called sub-frames.

In general, the first factor to consider whether to use the main and sub racks is whether to change the layout of the racks, that is, whether to change the position of the racks. After the main and sub racks are used together, it will be more difficult to move them. The position and layout of the changing shelves are not suitable for the scheme of using the main and auxiliary shelves. If the layout of the warehouse does not change within the visible time, the light-duty racks can be matched with the main and auxiliary racks, which can first save costs and better ensure the stability of the racks.

The shelf is assembled by uprights, beams, and laminates. An independent group has two uprights. If several groups are assembled into one row, then except for the first group that requires two uprights, the others can be combined with the one in front of it. The group consists of a column. This can save space and reduce costs, and the firmness is more stable than a single group, so the storage capacity is greatly improved. It can be said to save money and effort.
