Seven matters needing attention in shelf maintenance

For the use of warehouse shelves , we must know the correct repair and maintenance methods to prolong the service life of shelves. Through the correct use and maintenance of shelves, the damage of shelves can be reduced, so as to reduce unnecessary costs and expenses of enterprises. If the shelves are maintained regularly, the service life can be extended. Even if the warehouse managers are replaced one after another, the shelves can still serve for a long time. Therefore, the precautions for the use and maintenance of storage shelves are listed below:

1、Although the surface of the shelf has been treated, we should also pay attention to moisture-proof in the process of use. If the shelf is damp, it needs to be cleaned with a rag in time to avoid rust. Special attention should be paid to the interface position of the shelf, because it is easy to rust.

2、Do not overload the shelves during use. Each shelf has its maximum bearing capacity. The load capacity of the shelf has been doomed at the time of design, so don't overload the shelf in the process of use to avoid potential safety hazards.

3、Pay attention to the size of the goods, not too wide. The dimension of the pallet and goods shall be less than 100mm of the dimension in the shelf.

4、The goods shall be handled with care during handling to avoid impact on the shelf.

5、The principle of placing heavy objects at the bottom and light objects at the top of the shelf shall be observed.

6、The shelf card board shall be qualified, and non-standard card board shall not be used.

7、When goods are stored on the shelf, the bottom of the shelf should avoid personnel entry, and safety first.
